What Is Feng Shui
Feng Shui is a traditional Chinese practice that involves arranging the environment in a way that promotes positive energy flow, balance, and harmony. The term "Feng Shui" translates to "wind-water" in English, and it refers to the idea that people and their environment are connected by a universal energy known as "qi" (pronounced "Chee").
In Feng Shui, the arrangement of furniture, colors, and décor in a space is believed to impact the flow of qi, and therefore influence the quality of life and success of the occupants. For example, cluttered or cramped spaces can disrupt the flow of energy and cause feelings of stress, while an open and uncluttered space can promote relaxation and productivity.
Feng Shui principles can be applied to a wide range of settings, including homes, offices, gardens, and even whole cities. Some common Feng Shui practices include using specific colors, arranging furniture in a certain way, incorporating natural elements such as plants and water features, and enhancing the flow of natural light.
